Love & Hip Hop's Lil Mo & @itsVain 'Breakup to Makeup'

Art can mimic reality so well sometimes that you can barely tell which is real and which is art.  Such is the case with Lil Mo’s real life Break Up to Make Up story with her husband, which plays out on this season’s Love and Hip Hop New York AND in her video with Vain called, "Break Up to Make Up."

Lil Mo is currently in the headlines for the recent visit to Couples Court with her husband. Not to mention all the drama that has been playing out in this season’s Love and Hip Hop New York. With the allegations of her husband’s cheating, their son reading the blogs, therapy sessions and SO MUCH MORE!!

Vain is best known for his videos and collaborations with Jim Jones, Red Cafe, DJ Jazzy Joyce and Slim of 112. Vain and Lil Mo do not disappoint with this Classic Love Story.

Vain features Jim Jones of Love and Hip Hop Fame and Brooklyn Rapper Saint Laz in his, "Show Off," Video. The video was sponsored by P.Diddy's Ciroc Vodka and Louis Royer Cognac. VAIN became the Poster Boy for Louis Royer Cognac as a result. Sub 0 DVD was present along with numerous other media outlets and VAIN would eventually star on numerous Sub 0 DVD's as well as being featured on two of its Covers. The" Show Off," Behind the Scenes Footage was also featured on Sub 0 DVD and numerous sites carried it's video debut, Behind The Scenes Footage, and back story. Vain has dropped his much anticipated video for his Hit Single "Hello" which reached the Mediabase Top 100 Tracks with National Radio spins giving the single an audience of over 10 million. VAIN was a protege of the late great Big Kap aka "The Wardin," who is credited with helping to launch Biggie Smalls career and is best known for his critically acclaimed Mixtape "The Tunnel ," with Funkmaster Flex. Big Kap introduced VAIN and his song "Hello," on his Burnunit Legends Tour. Big Kap also performed live with Vain during the Tour and a clip of that final live performance is featured in the "Ain't No Nigga Like Me," video. VAIN and Big Kap callaborated on the single "Bottles In the Air" which features a rare vocal performance from "The Wardin" himself. VAIN's single "Throw It Back," was featured on Big Kap's final Mixtape "State2State." VAIN performed "Hello" when he opened up for the one and only Snoop Dogg at the Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz, California and at DJ Demp's Birthday Bash where Yo Gotti was also on the Marquee.

VAIN has toured  and performed with many of Hip Hop' s Greatest. Earlier this year he toured and collaborated with the Late Great Big Kap before his death. "Ain't No Nigga Like Me," which is featured in this Live Performance footage , along with Vain's new hit single "Hello" was a personal favorite of Big Kap's.  So much so that he performed it live on stage with Vain and that rare performance footage is featured in VAIN's  "Ain't No Nigga Like Me," Video. With VAIN's new single "Hello" at #84 on the Urban Mediabase Chart and climbing, VAIN has been touring and performing extensively this year.   He performed both songs in his set when he  opened up for Yo Gotti at Club Moon in Tallahassee, Florida this year. V.A.I.N.(Verbal Assault Is Nasty ) is a rap recording artist who was born and raised in Queens, NYC. Vain grew up under the musical influences of his parents, who were lifelong musicians, and the rich hip hop environment of NYC In an effort to expand his fan base and overall exposure he has recently begun touring the south, ensuring that his presence is known.



VAIN has a catalog of over 500 Hip hop songs, and numerous mixtapes. He's had the privilege of collaborating with many other talented artists in the industry on songs/videos including: Lil Mo (Break Up 2 Make Up), Slim from 112 (All the Good Girls), Fabolous & Ryan Leslie (Good Lovin') Jim Jones (Show Off), Red Cafe (All Ghetto video NSFW) & DJ Jazzy Joyce (I Love It - which reached #87 on Urban Mediabase Top 100).

Legends such as The Nappy Roots, Lil’ Flip, Yo Gotti, Lil’ Jon & the East Side Boyz, 112, Twista, movie maven Lisa Raye, George Clinton, Trick Daddy, Juvenile, Field Mob, Rick Ross, the OG Bigga Rankin, So So Def, the FUBU owners have all come to T-town over the years to enjoy and participate in various events. This year V.A.I.N was able to make his mark and add his name to the list of legends.

This years festivities included a special advance screening of Ice Cube & Kevin Hart's new movie 'Ride Along 2' , Elora Mason brought her fabulous FESummit showcase back to Tallahassee, only this year as a part of Demp Week.

Friday the weekend officially kicked off with DJ Demp hosting a Meet & Greet for legendary DJ Scream and later in the afternoon a celebrity basketball game for charity, that V.A.I.N. himself participated in. Check out the footage below.

Saturday was no different, V.A.I.N started the day off with DJ Demp's Anti-Bully Rally at the Jack McLean Community Center, another successful charity event for DJ Demp and #DempWeekXIX

Some of the other notable events and activities for V.A.I.N included hitting the stage at one of Tallahassee's infamous venues, The Moon. Where he had the privilege to open for Yo Gotti performing his new hit single "Hello", at DJ Demp's official birthday celebration.

He also had the privilege of being interviewed at FAMU'S own 90.5FM 'The Flava'.
